Welcome to Rurowa Laue Tathang (RLT)
Who We Are
RLT (in English Rebuild Lasting Together) is a local development NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) working in Khagrachari Hill District, Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bangladesh.
RLT began with the collaboration of a group of indigenous, local, energetic, educated social workers; with the aim of promoting the socio-economic, educational and cultural status of the poor and vulnerable people in Khagrachari Hill District.
In 1997, after many years of conflicts in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), a peace accord was agreed, between PCJSS and the government of Bangladesh. Because of this, the situation is now favourable for sustainable development of the CHT people.
On February 2nd 1997, RLT was established as a local non-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), with the Marma name Rurowa Laue Tathang; aiming to uplift the neglected local people in the Khagrachari Hill District, in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) of Bangladesh.
